Camp Adventures is proud to announce its new Ready for Life Program, which is aimed at transforming young lives through fun activities that work on familiarizing them with life’s challenges. The program take its inspiration from the world of the modern scouting movement, a world that combines traditional forms of scouting with modern goals that aim to build self-reliance, teamwork, leadership, and care for the environment.
About Ready for Life Program
The Ready for Life Program is for youth between 10 and 18 years of age. The program aims to develop its participants in areas involving physical, emotional, and intellectual aspects of growth.
The program offers a range of activities from which participants will learn life skills in areas like problem-solving, communication, and decision-making, while nurturing an appreciation for sustainability and self-care as core concepts.
Program Highlights
Your child will get involved in the following:
- Scouting Traditions: Learning about scout history and laws, and engage in group activities like scarf-making and scout claps.
- Team Building: Participating in collaborative challenges that build trust, leadership, and camaraderie.
- Survival Skills: Learning wilderness survival skills such as knot-tying, fire-making, and outdoor navigation.
- Sustainability Projects: Participating in activities aligned to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, through environmental conservation and clean energy projects.
- Adventurous Activities: Taking part in exciting outdoor activities such as hiking, archery, and overnight camps that create self-reliant individuals who are able to work together with their fellow campers.
